Need countertop installation or repair in Dubai or Sharjah? You found the right guys. We’re UAR Decor and we been doing kitchen countertops, bathroom worktops, and all kinds of surface work across the UAE for over 8 years now.
The thing about countertops here in Dubai and Sharjah – this climate is brutal on materials. The heat, humidity, and temperature changes will crack cheap stone or make poor installation fall apart fast. We seen way too many botched jobs where some contractor used wrong materials or didn’t install it right. Then 6 months later you got cracks, chips, or water damage.
That’s not how we work. We use proper materials that handle our crazy weather and install everything right the first time. Our work comes with real warranties because we actually stand behind what we do.
Kitchen counters are what we do most. Whether you got a small apartment kitchen in JLT or big villa kitchen in Emirates Hills, we install all types of materials:
Granite Countertops: Most popular choice here. Handles heat from cooking, looks amazing, lasts forever. We got black galaxy, white ice, brown antique – all the good stuff.
Quartz Countertops: Modern choice that’s super durable. Doesn’t need sealing like granite and resists stains really good. Popular in new apartments and modern homes.
Marble Countertops: Fancy option for high-end kitchens. Looks incredible but needs more care. We only recommend it if you gonna maintain it proper.
Laminate Countertops: Budget option that still looks decent. Good for rental properties or temporary solutions.
Got granite that’s chipped or cracked? Don’t replace the whole thing – we can fix it most of the time. Common repairs we do:
Granite crack repair from heat damage
Chip repair around sink edges
Stain removal and re-sealing
Polish restoration to make it shine again
Edge repair where it got damaged
Marble is beautiful but it gets damaged easier than granite. We fix:
Etching from acidic spills (lemon juice, wine, etc)
Scratches from cutting on the surface
Cracks from poor installation
Water stains and rings
Complete refinishing to look new again
Any kind of kitchen work surface problem, we probably seen it before:
Laminate that’s peeling or bubbling
Solid surface repairs and refinishing
Tile countertop re-grouting
Edge banding replacement
Heat damage repair
Bathroom vanity tops need special attention in Dubai climate. All that humidity will destroy cheap materials or poor installation. We install:
Granite vanity tops with integrated sinks
Quartz surfaces that won’t stain or scratch
Marble for luxury master bathrooms
Solid surface for easy cleaning
We do lots of commercial projects too:
Restaurant prep surfaces and serving counters
Hotel reception desks and lobby surfaces
Office reception counters
Medical facility surfaces (non-porous materials only)
Retail store displays and checkout counters
BBQ areas and outdoor kitchens are huge here. We use materials that handle direct sun, sandstorms, and temperature changes:
Heat-resistant granite for BBQ areas
Sealed surfaces that won’t fade in sun
Proper drainage and edge sealing
Non-slip surfaces for pool areas
Granite: Our most popular. Handles heat great, looks natural, each slab is unique. Black galaxy and white ice are big sellers here.
Quartz: Engineered stone that’s really consistent. Caesarstone and Silestone are good brands we use. Great for modern kitchens.
Marble: Fancy stuff like Carrara white or Calacatta gold. Beautiful but needs more maintenance. Only for people who will take care of it.
Solid Surface: Corian type materials. Good for commercial use, easy to repair, comes in lots of colors.
Laminate: Budget option. Formica makes decent stuff that looks ok for basic kitchens.
We don’t use cheap Chinese stone or materials that can’t handle the UAE climate. Everything we install is tested to work here.
We come measure your space and talk about what you want. No pushy sales stuff – just honest advice about what works.
Help you pick the right material for your needs and budget. We got samples at our showroom in Dubai.
Make exact measurements and templates. This is the most important part – if measurements are wrong, everything else is wrong.
Cut and polish your countertops at our workshop. Takes 7-10 days usually.
Remove old counters, install new ones, connect sinks and appliances. Usually done in 1-2 days.
Make sure everything is perfect and you’re happy with it.

8 years installing countertops in Dubai and Sharjah. We know what materials work here and what installation methods last.
We got professional stone cutting and polishing equipment. Not some guy with basic tools trying to do precision work.
We use granite from India and Brazil, quartz from Europe and US. No cheap Chinese stone that cracks after one summer.
Dubai Municipality paperwork, building management approvals – we take care of all that boring stuff.
5 years on installation work, manufacturer warranties on materials. We actually answer our phone if there’s problems.
Had this family wanted huge granite island for their kitchen but the existing support wasn’t strong enough. The granite slab they picked weighed over 400kg.
We worked with structural engineer to add proper support beams. Installed black galaxy granite with waterfall edges on both sides. Added under-cabinet lighting to show off the stone patterns.
Result: Kitchen became the showpiece of their home. Granite has held up perfect for 3 years now with heavy daily use. No cracks or problems at all.
Busy restaurant needed new prep surfaces that could handle constant cleaning and food prep. Their old laminate counters were staining and showing wear bad.
We installed commercial-grade quartz throughout the whole kitchen. Used integrated sinks and special edge profiles. Added anti-bacterial surface treatment that health department requires.
Result: Restaurant passed health inspections with no problems. Owner said cleanup time got cut in half and kitchen still looks brand new after 2 years of heavy use.
Young couple had tiny kitchen but wanted maximum counter space without making it look crowded. Budget was tight but they wanted quality materials.
We used light-colored quartz to make space feel bigger. Created breakfast bar that doubles as prep space. Matched the backsplash perfect to make it all flow together.
Result: Apartment sold for 15% above asking price when they moved. Multiple buyers mentioned the new countertops specifically as reason they wanted to buy it.
Heat Damage: Cracks from hot pots placed directly on stone. We can repair most of these.
Water Damage: Poor sealing around sinks that lets water get underneath. Causes swelling, mold, structural damage.
Poor Installation: Gaps, uneven surfaces, wrong adhesives. We fix other contractor’s mistakes all the time.
Staining: Natural stone that wasn’t sealed proper. We can usually restore and seal it right.
Chips and Cracks: Daily wear and tear damage. Most chips can be repaired to look like new.
Depends on the granite type and size. Basic granite starts around AED 200 per sq ft installed. High-end stuff can be AED 500+ per sq ft. We give exact quotes after measuring.
Both work great here. Granite needs sealing every year or two. Quartz never needs sealing but costs more upfront. Really depends on your budget and maintenance preference.
Usually 1-2 days after we finish cutting at our workshop. The cutting takes 7-10 days from when we do measurements.
Yeah, most granite cracks can be repaired. Depends how big and where the crack is. We use special adhesives and polish to make repairs nearly invisible.
Sure, we try to work around your schedule. Weekend installs are popular because people don’t want their kitchen torn up during the week.
Most stains can be removed with proper cleaning and polishing. Oil stains are trickiest but we got techniques to pull them out. Prevention is better though – seal your granite regular.
Natural stone varies a lot, so exact matches are hard. We keep samples of what we installed and can usually find close matches. Sometimes we recommend redoing the whole thing for consistent look.
Most countertop jobs don’t need permits from Dubai Municipality. But we check with your building management if needed. Commercial jobs sometimes need approvals.
Depends on material. Granite needs yearly sealing and regular cleaning. Quartz just needs basic cleaning. We give you care instructions and recommend good products.
Absolutely. We template around dishwashers, cooktops, sinks – whatever you got. We can also coordinate with appliance installers if you’re getting new stuff.
Marble is softer and more porous – stains and scratches easier but looks more elegant. Granite is harder and more practical for kitchens. Marble is better for bathrooms or low-use areas.
Yeah, we can fix peeling edges, bubbles, chips, and burns on laminate. Sometimes it’s better to replace with real stone though – laminate repairs don’t last as long.
That’s one of our specialties. We use sealed granite or special outdoor materials that handle sun, heat, and sandstorms. Regular indoor materials don’t work outside here.
